Just a heads up to keep your diary free for Thursday, 29th April. 365 iTechnology will be holding a seminar and golf day to introduce the benefits on offer from a well-deployed IBM virtualisation strategy. We’re looking for a great venue at the moment so more to follow on that but it’s going to be a superb day with some real insights into virtualisation, and of course, the golf!
Analysts are predicting this year to be a period of strong growth for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployments. IBM and VMware have a compelling message that now is the time for customers to seriously consider deploying virtual desktops/servers and storage to maximise their IT investment and realise a very quick ROI. These savings have been quantified by independent market analysts and highlight just how quickly cost savings are being realised.
In the morning we will have industry speakers who will cover off how implementing virtual infrastructures will reduce hardware costs and enable savings in power, maintenance, cooling, administration and licensing. In the afternoon after lunch we’ll tee off and there’ll be a prize giving after dinner.
